Ducting and filters

The cost effective, fast and flexible way to connect up your ventilation system.

Aluminium ducting can be cut to size, and sealed to fans, filters & silencers using clips or tape.

Air movement through ducting is not noise free. Acoustic ducting serves to minimise the noise created within sections of ducting.

Sizes refers to the inner diameter.

Fresh filters have a life span of up to a year and are light weight for easy installation.

Carbon filters are used in 1001 different industries as a filter - because they work. Carbon filters are ideal air cleaners, removing all unwanted or overwhelming plant fragrances.

The first dimension given is the diameter of the flange that connects to the ventilation system. The second dimension tells you the physical length of the filter - for example Filter 150/600mm is perfect for a 150mm (6inch) ducting system, and the filter is 600mm (2foot) long.

Filters are provided with white fabric pre-filter sleeve, used to extend the filter life (pre-filter not shown).

Rhino filters are extremely popular, easy to install and last up to 2 years.

Ductings clips

Quick release clamps.

Cost effective way to secure ducting to fans, filters, flanges etc. The size refers to the diameter of the clip.

Tighten with a screw driver, also easily removed by loosening the same screw.

Padded collars

Wide padded collar for joining two components of a ventilation system directly - without the need for a section of duct.

Sometimes two components eg: an extractor fan & silencer, have exactly the same diameter flange so they don't provide an 'overlap'. If this is the case padded fast clamps can be very handy.

Used to split or join sections of a ventilation system.

Equal 'T' sections - three holes of the same diameter

Y pieces are the choice of the professional to join or split duct paths.

Due to the shape duct assembly can be done without introducing sharp corners in a system. Sharp corners dramatically reduce air flow - which means fans are operating at low efficiency, and possibly not at the desired efficiency.

Used when you have two components of a system to attach together which have two different diameters.

Reducers provide a smooth efficient continued flow of air through narrowing (or widening) ventilation systems.

Its a fact every fan makes noise, this is because there is a motor and it is creating a lot of air movement.

Silencers are typically used to kill the noise that the air exiting a fan creates. They work in a similar way to a silencer on a motorbike exhaust.

Available in 3 lengths: Short = 500mm, Medium = 900mm, Long = 1200mm, the longer the quieter.
Available for all diameter extraction systems from 125mm to 315mm
