Pumps and Heaters

Hydor Theo Shatterproof Heaters are the top hydroponic water heaters in the UK. When the water in your nutrient tank gets too cold it can damage delicate root hairs which will ultimately effect water and nutrient uptake, weakening your plants.

The unique design means that the glass won't shatter, leaving you with a dangerous situation. They also have an overheating cut-off incase the water level drops below the heater. Be careful to read all the safety instructions before use.

Air Pumps

It is essential to have sufficient oxygen in your nutrient tank to ensure maximum nutrient uptake and plant health. We have the air pump to suit any situation from small single outlet air pumps to the largest air pumps.

ACO range: These air pumps range in size from single outlet (1.6L/min) up to eight outlets (16L/min). These air pumps are suitable in most situations.

V Series: The V series are much larger pumps which pump the air at high pressure and can be used with up to 16 air stones.

Air Stones

Good quality air stones are the key to ensuring maximum oxygen content in your nutrient tanks. Our ceramic range of air stones are made for maximum lifespan.

Golf ball air stones: like the name suggests these air stones are round and roughly the same size as a golf ball. They give excellent aeration to your tank.

Round air stones: these durable air stones entrain small bubbles in your nutrient tank. Their shape allows maximum surface area for the bubbles to form.

Basic but good quality pumps. The standard of the UK hydroponic industry.

The following pumps are for the folllowiing systems:

320 litres per hour (+oxygenation): GT 205, GT 424
450 litres per hour (+oxygenation): GT 604

Submersible multi-use pump. High performance with low power consumption. Waterproof, rotating water outlet, silent, versatile, low maintainance. Protected motor will not overheat.

Typically used as a submersible pump, but can also be used externally (as shown in image to the left).

The following pumps are for the following systems:

500 litres per hour: Wilma 4 pot
1000 litres per hour: Wilma 8, 10, 16 and 20 pot.
MD 601, 602, 603 and 604.
