As opposed to hooks and chain, which can be tedious to constantly re-adjust, these devices allow you to position your light exactly at the height you wish, simply by pulling it to that height - let go and it stays there. Want it higher? Lift it higher, the light will stay at the height you let go of it. Almost like magic.

Strong chain... handy for hanging lots of things.

Jack chain is very strong and doesn't need bolt cutters or sawing to make into the length you need. Simply, using a pair of pliers and a little elbow action, pull open a link to break into the right sized length.
